Pricing
Every project is different, so before providing a quote, unless it is straightforward, I will ask for a sample of the material so that I can judge the amount of work required and discuss it with you.
Once we have agreed on the work needed I will provide a quote. Usually this will be based on an hourly rate or per 1,000 words. If it is a large project, such as a book or large website, different rates will apply.
My fees are based on the suggested minimum hourly rates published by the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading.
No job is too small, but I do charge a minimum fee of £20.
Before any work starts, we will agree on the fee, on the work to be carried out and on the time frame for completion.
